Frequently Asked Questions

-
Do I need a consultation before treatment?
Yes. A consultation is required for all new patients. If recent laboratory results (within the past 3 months) are available, a telehealth consultation may be possible. If not, labs will be drawn at your appointment. -
How much are lab tests if I do not have insurance?
If you elect to self-pay for laboratory tests, the fee is $170 per workup.
-
Do you accept insurance?
We are a private-pay medical clinic and do not accept insurance for services or treatments. Lab testing may be billed to insurance when eligible through Labcorp. -
How much is the consultation?
All consultations — in-office or telehealth — are $99. This covers your medical evaluation and discussion of personalized treatment options. -
What if I decide not to start treatment?
The consultation fee applies whether or not you begin a treatment plan. This ensures our time, review of your medical needs, and lab interpretation are appropriately covered. -
How much are follow-up visits?
Follow-up visits without treatment are $99. These visits include a lab review, progress evaluation, and, when applicable, dosing adjustments. If you have a treatment, you will not be charged the additional $99. -
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept major credit/debit cards, Apple Pay, and HSA/FSA cards when applicable. Payment is due at the time of service. -
Do you offer financing or payment plans?
We may have financing options available and can review them during your consultation, depending on your treatment plan.

Telehealth Questions

-
Do you offer telehealth appointments?
Yes. Telehealth consultations and follow-ups may be offered when clinically appropriate and when recent laboratory results are available. We provide telehealth services in North Carolina, South Carolina, New York, New Mexico, Colorado, and Pennsylvania. -
Which treatments can be managed through telehealth?
Hormone therapy (cream prescriptions) and medical weight-loss programs may be supported via telehealth after an initial evaluation and laboratory review. -
How do I receive my hormone cream?
Hormone creams are sent to your preferred pharmacy and handled like a standard prescription. You are only responsible for your visit to our clinic; prescription costs are handled directly by the pharmacy and, if eligible, by your insurance plan. -
How can I obtain my weight-loss medication?
Weight-loss medications can be shipped directly to your home or dosed and administered in the office. Medication vials and syringes are included. We provide injection training and are happy to administer injections in-clinic each month at no additional charge.
Additional Clinic Policies

-
Are refunds offered on services?
Due to the nature of medical treatments, services already provided, and opened medical products, these are non-refundable. -
What if I need to cancel?
We require at least 24 hours' notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Late cancellations or no-shows may incur a fee. This also applies to rescheduling. -
How soon will I see results?
Results vary based on the service and individual goals. Your provider will review expectations during your consultation. -
How much do treatments cost?
Because we are a medical practice, treatment plans are personalized based on your individual needs, medical history, and lab results. Pricing varies depending on the type of treatment, dosage, and frequency of care. All costs are reviewed with you during your consultation before any treatment begins. -
How long do lab results take?
Most laboratory results are returned within 2–5 business days. We typically schedule your follow-up appointment for the following week to ensure all results are reviewed and ready for your personalized plan.
